Who We Are

Tara Roberts

CAM, CPM®, MBA Cofounder Member NAA/VAMA/IREM; Tara Roberts started her career in property management in 1994 as a leasing professional in Austin, Texas. She has worked in numerous on-site and corporate office roles including Asset Manager, Director of Operations, and Multifamily President. Her passion is employees and was the driving force for creating Magic Make Readies company values: Quality of Life, Quality Relationships, and Quality Service. Tara believes employees are a company’s most important investment. As a result, Magic Make Readies offers above industry salaries and benefits to recruit and retain the most committed and customer service oriented teams. Tara resides in Richmond with her husband and her twin daughter and son. She enjoys the outdoors, reading, and travel.

Beth Jacobs

Cofounder Member NAA /VAMA; Beth Jacobs started her career in property management in 1993 in Cincinnati Ohio. Beth worked for several great companies throughout her career including Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Bozzuto, and Colonial Properties. Prior to starting Magic Make Readies she was a Senior Regional Manager for Dodson Property Management in Richmond, VA. Her passion for empowering maintenance teams and excellent customer service was the driving force behind this start up. She experienced firsthand the impact of long delays in recruiting and hiring maintenance staff on turn times and occupancy issues as the result of apartments that were not show ready. Beth resides in New Kent with her husband and her passion is travel. She enjoys spending time with her 2 grandchildren she also enjoys biking along the Capital Trail and visiting new VA wineries.

Chris Lennon

Maintenance Director; Chris Lennon started his career in property management in 1998, he began his career working after school as a groundskeeper and climbed the ranks to Regional Director for RC Evans before joining Magic Make Readies in 2018. His passion is customer service, and he takes pride in going above and beyond for his customers and the team he works with. He is a native of Buffalo New York, and currently resides in Glen Allen, with his wife and three children. He loves to golf, and his favorite football team is the Buffalo Bills

Katie Lynch

HCCP, TCS, FHS, CFS; A Richmond area native, Katie Lynch began her career in property management at a mixed income, mixed use lease-up with Plus Management in 2013. She quickly fell in love with affordable housing and was named Dodson Property Management’s regional compliance manager in 2017. Katie served in that role for over four years overseeing a variety of housing finance programs administered by HUD and Virginia Housing before joining Magic Make readies in 2021 as team director. She is a resident of the Short Pump area where she lives with her husband and their numerous pets.

Kristie Brewer

Assistant Account Manager; Kristie Brewer started her career in property management in 2004 in Richmond Virginia. Kristie worked for many different management companies throughout her career managing large multi-site properties. She also had the privilege to work with Beth and Tara for 12 years of her property management career, which lead her to her current position today with Magic Make Readies. Kristie resides in Prince George with her fiancé, two children and her two fur babies. During her free time, you can catch her at the beach or enjoying nature walks with her family.
