What handyman services does Magic Make Readies offer?

We offer a variety of home repair services including plumbing, appliance installation, HVAC preventative maintenance, light and plumbing fixture installments, interior painting, cabinet painting, tub and counter resurfacing, tile installation and repair, garage floor sealing, flooring installation and just about anything you might need done around your home.

While the list of potential handyman services is vast there are a few services we do not offer. We do not offer appliance repair, moving services, landscaping maintenance, or roofing repairs. 

Our office is located in Richmond Virginia. We serve the Greater Richmond Area, Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, and locales in between.

We are members of the BBB with an A+ rating, we are Google Guaranteed, and members of the Painting Contractors Association. We are licensed by the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR).

In almost all instances you will be working with our highly trained technicians. We only subcontract for aspects of the job that do not meet our skill set which is very infrequent. We take quality very seriously so we prefer to send our in house team to complete work in your home. Each technician undergoes rigorous screening including criminal background checks, drug screening, and driving record.

We accept checks, credit cards, and ACH transfers. A 3% credit card fee applies. We can send you a secure link for payment.

Yes, we offer financing on projects $600 or greater. 90 days same as cash.

We require a deposit of 20% for any jobs over $2,000. We also require that materials are paid for the day the job starts.

Yes, but we highly discourage it. Our technicians are experts at selecting the best products for each job. With years of experience testing and using various products, we have identified the most durable and reliable options. We are confident in our ability to choose what’s best for your needs. If you decide to provide your own materials, please note that we cannot offer a warranty on those items.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us by 2pm the day prior or you will be responsible for a cancellation fee of $148. You can cancel by calling or texting 804-258-0027.
